So I named the blog Lace and Leopard Print because not only are they two of my favorites in fashion, but they are enduring classics that make an appearance season after season rather than simply being trends that come and go. This fall Lace is back in a BIG way. Why Lace you ask? Its the ULTIMATE feminine accent and it works on everything from shoes to dresses to hair accesories to cardigans to tights and you can pair it with ANYTHING -leather, denim, heels, boots, vests-the options are endless. Rain Check

Almost everyday for about 2 weeks I've woken up to rain hitting my window on dreary gray mornings. Its the worst to have to pull yourself out from underneath the warmth of your sheets knowing you'll have to splash through puddles all day.If you're like me you also hate that your footwear choice is limited. Fall is here-Don't freak!

Something strange happened the other day...

I stepped outside of my apartment (running late as usual) in an A line summer dress and I noticed something...IT WAS COLD. A bit later into the day the weather warmed up but that first chilly morning took me by surprise. Living in GA usually means summer until at least October but it seems this year fall is paying us an early visit! So what is the fashionista on a budget to do until she can afford to stock up her closet for the winter? Buy a couple of key pieces to transition her summer clothes into fall mode of course! Here are some quick fixes for those first mild fall days.

Normal summer outfit: Tank, shorts, sandals

Fall solution: Add a vest and some classy flats to look less beach and more chic
